Palin learns French.
First, Sarah Palin claimed earlier this week that criticisms by the media were threatening her First Amendment rights. She then dazzled us yet again today with news that we’re actually at war with Iran. Her wealth of foreign policy experience and Constitutional knowledge have come shining through again.
Just when you thought she couldn’t possibly have anything left in the tank, however, Palin was tricked by a pair of comedians from a radio station in Quebec into thinking she was speaking with French President Sarkozy during a 6 minute long “interview”:
Those are some of the worst French accents ever. Obviously, not her fault for getting on the phone initially to speak with him, she was told it was Sarkozy by her own staff after all, but to go along with the outrageous things he was talking about just illustrates her lack of knowledge and experience even further. And can someone please tell me why no one on her staff seems to have a phone with caller ID? The last time I checked, no one calling from France was coming through with a 514 area code.
Ok, enough Palin bashing for the night. I did, however, see this video and thought it was definitely deserving of closing out the post for the evening:
